Kim’s Karate was started in 1970 by 9th Degree Black Belt Master Jae Kim. In 30 years, Kim’s karate has become the largest chain of Martial Arts schools on the East Coast with over 35 schools in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Florida and California.

We offer the following types of programs:

• Taekwondo, meaning “the way of the hand and foot,” is a general term used to describe Korea’s national sport. We train in  traditional Korean forms. We supplement these punches and kicks with self-defense techniques and overall endurance and flexibility training. Including certified black belt instructors like Master Victor Battung, Master JD, and certified assistant instructors.
• Karate training takes place in a formal atmosphere with an emphasis on etiquette and self-control as well as physical ability. Training generally is divided into the practice of basic techniques and sparring. While sparring, students stop blows just short of contact so that power is always maintained with control.

• After School Program, We offer a full licensed daycare open all days according to the public schools, also open on a majority of days when schools are out providing full day daycare, Open on most snow days, and days when school are closed. Karate classes are included in this program.

• Summer Camp Open 7AM to 6PM offering trips to go on everyday including swimming, library, bounce around, wheels skating center, and many more. Snacks provided. Karate classes are included in this program. Call for prices
